For many years we have had medical students from Oxford attached to the practice for two weeks a year. We are also a training practice, which enables us to have qualified doctors working in the practice, most of whom are in their final year of higher training before entering general practice. Hugh Powell is the GP trainer for the practice, but all doctors and staff are actively involved.
You may find that on some occasions your doctor may be videoing the consultation. This is to help improve the doctor’s communication skills and is used for teaching purposes.Of course, this will only happen with your consent and there is no problem if you would prefer not to be videoed.
Dr Sarah Ramrutton Mulcock has just joined the surgery on a 4 month attachment as part of her speciality training.
