GP’s vote to take collective action
You may have read in the press or heard in the news that GPs have voted to take collective action in order to secure a new contract for General practice. We need a contract that provides the investment and workforce needed to look after patients in a safe way, with the ability and funding to be able to recruit enough GPs to manage workload, reduce waiting times to see your GP and be able to offer more appointments.
It is important to note, this is not a strike. Any actions we take will be safe and sustainable. You should continue to contact your practice in the same way you have always done.
