Medication shortages
You may be aware from the press that international shortages of many medications may be causing delays in dispensing to patients.
Both Lambourn Pharmacy and the Surgery Dispensary are working tirelessly to minimize the impact on patients by seeking alternative sources and substitute medication. In the meantime please give good notice when requesting repeat prescriptions (ideally 5 days) so that the dispensers have adequate time to fulfil your request.
Please do not make unnecessary requests to stockpile since this will only aggravate the problem. I am sure that you understand this difficult situation and will respect that all of the staff are doing their best in these challenging circumstances.
