• To support the smooth running of clinics for GPs and Health Professionals by performing the more routine administration and clinical tasks on behalf of the GP/Health Professional, freeing up their time to focus on the patient.

What I can do

• Care planning / LTCs
• INR & Urine dips, ECGs
• Phlebotomy
• B12 injections
• Diabetic foot checks
• Supporting GPs with immunisations and Wound care
• Completing care home & housebound visits
• LD annual health checks, Mental health annual reviews

What I can't do

• Work outside scope of practice as a GPA, regardless of my Paramedic background.
• Prescribe medications
